Amy has a passion for movement and a love for people. She has been involved in fitness all of her life as a way to stay healthy and to enjoy the endorphins it provides. She found pole fitness and trapeze 11 years ago and silks shortly after.
Amy has been teaching pole fitness for 6+ years at Studio4.pole4fun in Vancouver, Washington and was formerly the owner. The aerial and pole fitness community are a wonderful group of people that gain their fitness through elevated movements and flying.
Movement is medicine, and for Amy, that proved to truly be the case. Amy had a health scare two years ago that was supposed to end her life. Using yoga, aerial yoga, pole fitness and Pilates (as well as doctor assistance) she was able to heal herself to be stronger than she was before. Even though her body hurt, she felt depressed and terrible, and was told to lay there in peace, she moved a little every day — footsteps in the fight for her life.
Amy wants you to use movement to feel better, to fight anxiety and depression, and to fight against all of the stresses of this world. One step is momentum.
